Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontist to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, preventing, and treating dental and facial irregularities. You will work closely with patients to help them achieve healthy, functional, and aesthetically pleasing smiles through braces, aligners, and other orthodontic treatments.
Roles & Responsibilities
– Examine patients and assess dental and jaw development using X-rays and diagnostic tools.
– Develop individualized treatment plans to address alignment and bite issues.
– Apply orthodontic appliances such as braces, retainers, and clear aligners (e.g., Invisalign).
– Monitor patient progress, adjust appliances, and ensure timely treatment goals.
– Educate patients on oral hygiene practices during orthodontic treatment.
– Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
– Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
– Orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning
– Application and adjustment of braces and aligners
– Use of digital imaging tools (e.g., X-rays, iTero, CBCT)
– Fabrication and fitting of orthodontic appliances
– Knowledge of Invisalign and other clear aligner systems
– Management of bite issues (malocclusion, crowding, spacing)
– Surgical orthodontic planning (if applicable)
Qualifications:
– DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
