Summary
We’re looking for the right talent to join our dynamic team as an Intermediate SAP SD Consultant. In this role, you’ll play a key part in optimizing our sales and distribution processes using SAP, working across teams to deliver smart, scalable solutions that drive real business results.
Roles & Responsibilities
Configuration & Implementation
Configure SAP SD module components including pricing, credit management, billing, and shipping
Design and implement sales processes, distribution channels, and organizational structures
Set up master data elements including customer masters, material masters, and condition records
Configure output determination for invoices, delivery documents, and sales orders
Implement revenue recognition and billing processes
Business Process Analysis
Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement
Document functional specifications and business requirements
Design end-to-end sales and distribution processes from inquiry to cash
Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
Conduct gap analysis and recommend process optimizations
Integration & Support
Ensure seamless integration between SD and other SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, PP, WM)
Coordinate with technical teams for custom developments and enhancements
Provide Level 2/3 support for SD-related issues and user inquiries
Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions
Create and maintain system documentation and user guides
Training & Knowledge Transfer
Conduct end-user training sessions and workshops
Create training materials and process documentation
Mentor junior consultants and business users
Stay updated with latest SAP SD functionalities and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
– 3–5 years of hands-on SAP SD experience, including configuration and support.
– Solid understanding of the order-to-cash lifecycle and related SAP SD functionalities.
– Experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
– Strong grasp of integration points with other SAP modules like MM, FI, and WM.
– Experience working with IDocs, EDI, and third-party interfaces is a plus.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills—comfortable engaging with both technical teams and business users.
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
– S/4HANA implementation or migration experience.
– Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira).
– Basic ABAP debugging knowledge.
– Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and testing tools.
