Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP BTP Consultant/Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You will play a key role in driving our digital transformation initiatives by integrating, extending, and innovating across our SAP landscape using BTP services such as CAP, Fiori/UI5, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Build.
Roles & Responsibilities
– Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable applications and extensions on SAP BTP.
– Leverage SAP BTP services such as SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), SAP Integration Suite, SAP Build Apps/Process Automation, and SAP Business Application Studio.
– Design and implement APIs and integrations using SAP API Management, SAP Event Mesh, and SAP Cloud Integration.
– Develop and maintain Fiori/UI5 applications and OData services.
– Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and other developers to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
– Ensure best practices in security, scalability, and performance across BTP applications.
– Stay updated on SAP’s latest offerings and roadmap in BTP, and guide the organization on technology adoption.
– Mentor junior team members and lead technical reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
– 5+ years of SAP development experience, with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in SAP BTP.
– Expertise in SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), Node.js/Java, CDS, and SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
– Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite (including Cloud Integration and API Management).
– Experience working with SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Business Application Studio, and Git-based DevOps pipelines.
– Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and microservices.
– Ability to work in agile project teams and deliver results under tight timelines.
– Experience with SAP Build (Apps, Process Automation) and SAP Event Mesh.
– Knowledge of Identity and Access Management on BTP (XSUAA, IAS, IDP).
– Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA extensibility (in-app and side-by-side).
– SAP certifications in BTP or related areas.
